What We Do
CPD Activities:
SWME functions as a liaison between world renowned medical facilities, international medical associations, pharmaceutical agencies and medical communications companies to promote in-person medical exchange.
SWME’s CPD activities are offered either through the existing programs of medical associations, or by developing customized activities tailored to the particular audience’s educational and scientific needs. Activities are provided at top healthcare institutions and cover many distinct medical fields, including topics in public healthcare, primary care and in the most highly specialized clinical care.
Multi-disciplinary areas of focus may include:
- Allergy
- Clinical immunology
- Infectious diseases
- Respiratory infections
- Diabetes
- Metabolic diseases
- Rheumatology
For each activity, the SWME teams up with leading medical associations and local experts to develop the curriculum select a faculty comprised of leaders in their field. Activities can be in the format of ground rounds, live surgery, lectures and case study presentations. SWME also provides logistical support for course design and implementation.
Who Can Participate?
CPD activities facilitated by the SWME are open to all generalists and specialist physicians wishing to advance in their particular health care field. However, only doctors from developing countries are eligible for SWME sponsorship.
